The last Evo, in its Japanese-market form. The Evolution X replaced the 4G63 with the all-aluminium 4B11T — 2.0 litres, turbocharged, 206 kW and 422 Nm in JDM tune — and put it through S-AWC, Mitsubishi's active centre diff, active yaw control and stability control working together, which is why an Evo X goes around a corner the way nothing else at the price does. This is the GSR, the road-going grade: the TC-SST six-speed twin-clutch with paddles, Brembo brakes, HID headlights and the half-leather sports interior. A 2008 car, so one of the first year's production, imported from Japan with the paperwork to prove its history. The Evo that ended the line, as Japan got it.
