Lexus's first sports sedan, and still one of the easiest ways into a rear-wheel-drive six-cylinder. The original IS200 put Toyota's smooth 2.0-litre straight-six up front and drove the rear wheels, with a double-wishbone chassis that made it the car BMW 3 Series owners were told to worry about — and Lexus build quality underneath. A first car with some character, a daily with a proper chassis, or a clean base for a build.
