The last Impreza-bodied STI, in its Japanese-market form — which is a different car from the Australian one. Australia's GV STI had the 2.5-litre EJ257; Japan kept the 2.0-litre EJ207 — a twin-scroll turbo flat-four that revs to 8,000 rpm and makes 227 kW and 422 Nm — behind a six-speed manual and the driver-controlled centre differential, with Brembo brakes. This one has the factory BBS wheels, the STI radiator and STI flexible tower bar, Alcantara combination seats, both smart keys and service records from its Japanese life, and comes from Saitama, where the roads aren't salted. The sedan the export markets never got with this engine.
